     It's been great reading over the directory entries and catching up with what so many of you have been doing for 30 years!  After graduation from UVA, I married my college sweetheart and moved from Virginia. Bob (who attended West Springfield HS) has worked with DuPont since his college graduation and we have moved several times over the years.  We have lived in Delaware, Texas, South Carolina, England and have now been in Pennsylvania for the last 6 years.   Bob and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary and have 3 kids that have kept our lives very busy.  
     Our oldest daughter, Lauren, will be a senior at Clemson University; our daughter, Kristen, will be a sophomore at Shippensburg University; and our son,Kyle, will be a junior in high school this year.
     I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom while the kids were growing up and for the past few years have been substitute teaching at our local middle and high schools.  I really love working with the kids and am thinking of pursuiing my teaching certificate -- we'll see!
     My parents are still living in Mount Vernon and my sister, Tammy, (MV '80) is living down in Mont Clair.  They have kept me updated with news of old classmates as they have run into them over the years, but I have been really bad at keeping in touch myself.  I look back to Mount Vernon with fond memories and although I will not be able to attend the reunion, I'll be thinking of you and hope you all have a great time.

Hi everyone. We are looking forward to a fun weekend. To give you a brief over view of the last 30 years: My husband, Taylor and I met my junior year in college. I graduated early and became a high school teacher in 1981. I was a high school teacher and community college instructor for four years in Virginia Beach, while Taylor continued his education. We moved to Charleston, SC in 1985 and lived in Mt. Pleasant for 7 years. While in Charleston I taught for 2 years and then we started our family. We have three wonderful kids. We moved back to Virginia Beach in 1992 and we have been living in the same neighborhood for 16 years. Ashley, our oldest child, is a 4th year student at UVA. Our son, TJ, is a 2nd year student at UVA and Hillary is a senior in high school. I am an active member of the PTSA and enjoy volunteering in our community. I hope to see a lot of you this weekend!!!
