Hello fellow classmates!  I've enjoyed reading all your bios.  I'm happy to see that you are all well and happy.

My family moved to Omaha just after we graduated and so I lost touch with many of you.  I went to a college in Wyoming and then to school to become a travel agent.  I worked as a travel agent for many years.  I met Earl, USAF Officer at the time, in Omaha and we married there in 1982.  Carla Wees was my maid of honor.  We moved with the Air Force over Earl's 20 yr. career from Omaha, to Los Angeles, to Colorado Springs, to San Antonio, to Sacramento, and to back to Colorado Springs where he retired from the Air Force.  We have two great kids.  Brady ,22, and Dana,18, will both be at Colorado State Univ. this fall.  Brady will graduate in Dec. with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and Dana wants to earn a degree in Biology and go on to Optometry Graduate School.  Thus my "full-time Mommy" status will downgrade to "empty nester"...maybe I'll discover that it's really a promotion!  We'll see.

I'm currently not working.  After staying home raising kids for a good many years, I started an Interior Re-design/Home Staging business.  I've recently sold my share off to my business partner to be spend time with my Dad during his terminal illness and also to be home with Dana during her senior year in high school.  After loosing my Dad to cancer I realized that family comes first.  I wanted to savor Dana's last year at home.  Can you tell I'm a little apprehensive about being an empty nester?! 

I've always enjoyed being creative.  I paint watercolors, scrapbook, decorate, etc.  I also enjoy white-water rafting, hiking, skiing, reading, entertaining, and most of all, traveling.  Earl travels worldwide with General Dynamics and I get to tag along.  Last year I joined him in Tokyo and Sydney.  This year it'll be to Hawaii and Prague, hopefully!

Life is good.  My two brothers and Mom live nearby in Colorado.  We get together with our families often and we have a ball.  We have our health, our faith, and each other...what more could I ask for?

Holy Shiznit!!  30 years.  A lot has happened since 1978.
Married my first wonderful hubby and was living in Manassas VA for 10 years.  John Conner was a Sgt. with the Manassas City Police Dept.  Sadly killed in the line of duty July 1988.  His name is on the Police Memorial in DC and on the memorial in front of the DC police dept.  We had 2 children together, David is 22 living in Phoenix, AZ and Liz is 20 living in Denver, CO.

In 1990 I met my now husband Joe when I moved to Delaware to be close to my parents.  What a kind and generous man.  We have been married for 15 years and have a wonderful daughter Jessica now 14.  We moved to Colorado in 2002.  After a visit to Lyons Colorado I knew this was the place for me.

 We moved our manufacturing company here and I am currently running the business solo.  Joe has always wanted to work as a wildland fire fighter..he now works for the Colorado State Forest Service as a crew boss on the local engine.  During the fire season he is in different states fighting wildfires.  He truly loves his work.
I just wrote my first children's book tilted Red Rock Capers.

 We live on a small farm and we have 4 dogs that keep predators at bay.  This book, and more to follow, are based on our dogs.  Though the adventures are fiction, the dog's personalities are reflected in the stories.  There are more books to follow so start the series now.  Book 2 is at the publishers now.  Amazon.com carries the books.

Though business will not allow me to travel in the summer (it is the business' and Joe's busiest time of the year) I will be thinking of you all as you reunite for the 30.  Tip a brew for me, Corona preferably.

The last few years have been a whirlwind, life has changed in so many ways, I was finally awarded full custody of my now 5 yr old son, we returned from Detroit to SW VA in 2007, Sharon, Cameron and myself are settling in, I am so looking forward to seeing all. I am really getting excited about our 30th reunion.  The website is great and you all have done a fantastic job on our reunion plans-THANK YOU for all your hard work.  I continue to live in rural western Maryland, which I love.  I am still working part-time as a pediatric physical therapist in early intervention (0-3 year olds). MY 3 boys keep me extremely busy-Mike is 20 and in college, Cory is 15, and Casey is 13.  My brother, Mike (class of 79') lives in Annapolis, so its been great having him close by.  He just retired from the Navy after 25 years and some MV grads were there for his retirement ceremony. It's amazing how fast 30 years can go by.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
