Occupation: Business Development Website: www.ccl.org Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 What song from high school do you most want to hear at the reunion?: Freebird, Shake Your Groove Thing - any Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Steve Miller Band, Boston, Journey, Styx, Leo Sayer, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Doobie Bro's, Rod Stewart, Eagles and the Pure Disco Series form 1974-78! From Bill: Look forward to seeing everyone at the 30th! Settled into Greensboro, NC for 20 years ago and work at the Center for Creative Leadership for 15. Married to my beautiful wife Karen for 17+ years and we have 3 kids all born on June 5th! Lauren is 14 starting HS in the Fall and we have boy/girl twins Bo and Morgan who are 8. The twin thing seems to stay with the Howland family! Have been coaching youth soccer for at least 10 years, all the kids are on the swim team so we stay active with them along with all the school events, boy/girl scouts, and everything else you do for your own kids! Lauren played the lead role of Sandy in the musical Grease in 8th grade, Morgan made the finals of the City Swim Championships for 8U Breast Stroke and Bo endulges his dad's love of coaching soccer and is the sweetest and most sensitve kid you could ever want! We spent last Thanksgiving at DISNEY with Karen's entire family and went to Discovery Cove as you will see in the "NOW" picture. Soemthing to do once in your life with the kids if you get the chance! If you have not tried Bikram Yoga ask me about it at the reunion. Locked in a room for 90 minutes, 105-degree heat and 50% humidity does wonders for your body and mind! Bill(y) |

From Leslie: I was married for 22 years and have three children, a son 26 and two daughters 19 & 22. I have been divorced five years now and am enjoying every day! I travel as much as I can; last year I was in Mexico and Alaska, Florida and Nashville! I do not ride horses anymore but my youngest daughter has the gift and works for Michael Matz - she really is enjoying the experience and is a good rider herself. I have two dogs Cricket and Didji and they love to be outside as much as I do! I kayak, canoe, hike, power walk, jog, sail, will try just about anything outside, love the beach and clear blue water! I enjoy all types of music (except rap) and even can be found Country line dancing or at Celtic Rock concerts like Brother or Seven Nations! I am an automotive controller for a high line auto dealer in west chester - I really enjoy my job and have found a wonderful place to work. I hope everyone is doing well, I only spent two years at Mt Vernon, didn't get to know alot of you very well as alot of my interest was at the barn and showing horses, but I hope you have a wonderful reunion and if you remember me, please drop a note, it would be nice to hear from you! Birthday: January 04, 1960
Occupation: Homemaker Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 What song from high school do you most want to hear at the reunion?: Won't be attending. From Anne: Graduated from Va Tech in 1982 and enjoyed a 10 year career in the hotel/meeting planning industry. Met John in 1990 on a blind date. We married in May 1992 and moved to Camp LeJeune, NC. He is an '82 USNA grad and a US Marine. The Marine Corps moved us to Monterey, CA; Quantico, VA; and Chesapeake, VA. We have 2 boys (Patrick, 14 and Brendan, 13) and 1 daughter (Brigid, 9). Patrick will be in 9th grade and is on the swim team; Brendan is in 8th grade and is our soccer player; and Brigid is 3rd grade and is our dancer (ballet, jazz, and acrobatics). John retired from the USMC in June 2005 as a Lt. Col. and we decided to raise our family in Chesapeake, VA. We love going to the beach which is only about 20 minutes away and the kids love the schools here. After moving into 6 houses in 8 years, it's nice being settled and knowing the next move will be by our choice and not someone else's! I gave up my career after getting married, although I did substitute teach at the elementary level for 5 years in Chesapeake. I loved being around children all day, but decided it was important to be home for my children when they got home from school (especially teenagers!). I will miss being at the reunion this year. We have several other prior commitments that weekend. I have enjoyed looking at the pictures -- it looks like it was a blast! |
