I've seen a couple of requests for Come Sail Away; since it was our Senior Prom theme, I think it would be appropriate. : ) More: Philadelphia Freedom - by Elton John; I remember hearing that on the way to 1st period MANY times. Anything by Fleetwood Mac Anything by the Bee Gees; Saturday Night Fever Sound Track Anything by Donna Summer; also known as the queen of disco.
From Dennis:

30 Years!!!   Wow; where has the time gone?   I attended the 10th year reunion, however I missed the 20th; so I'm really looking forward to this one!

Unfortunately John, my significant other, will not be able to attend.   He has a new restaurant in downtown St. Louis to run (BALADAS).  However I'm happy to say that Robin Darden, "my prom date", has agree to escort me to the event (THANKS Robin!  I'm glad you decided to attend; you're the best!).

Hey Jeri Stocks & Debbie Yates, if you're attending the event; do you want to "carpool"?   : )   I at least hope to see you at the event...    : )

Since the 20th reunion:   I'm still working for Drury Hotels, Inc. and just celebrated my 21st  anniversary.   I currently manage a small team of System Support Analysts; who support the Front Desk Systems at 120 hotels.

For fun we still travel as much as we can...   In the last year: France, Mexico and British Virgin Islands.

That's enough for now...    See you Friday and / or Saturday...   Until then, take care...   Dennis  : )

What song from high school do you most want to hear at the reunion?:
anything from the late 70s
From Nancy:
Okay, I thought I should rewrite since I've been cruising through all of the bios and enjoying the "news" from others.

I have been married for 2 1/2 years to a guy who was born and raised in Southern California! He recently said he wanted to go back to surfing? No, we are not old ... ha ha!  I moved to California 8 1/2 years ago and live in downtown Los Angeles. We are both really involved in our church and we have a ministry that caters to homeless women in Downtown LA.

I have been a graphic designer for many years and work part time at Teleflora in the Flowers& magazine department as the art director.

My main passion in life, other than my husband, is missions to the world and orphan awareness. My team of 10 teens and I just came back from Russia. This was my 3rd year of leading and preparing teenagers to Russia for the short-term missions experience.

I have always remained in touch with Dennis Ayo and just recently re-connected with Lisa Anderson.

Have fun at the reunion. I hope to see wonderful pictures! =)

From David:
I am really impressed with the work the reunion committee has done.  If this website is any indication, the reunion will be awesome.  Unfortunately, our family committed a long time ago to go to South Carolina for the same time as the reunion and I won't be able to attend.

I am very sad about Lindsay Bowie (Balsamo) passing a short time ago. I hadn't seen her in years and ended up bumping into her about 10 years ago on a playground, when our kids were in the same preschool.  Until Lindsay and her husband Jimmy moved to Richmond about two years ago, our kids went to the same school, played on the same soccer team and we lived in the same neighborhood. She was a great mother, spouse and friend and we will all miss her.

Ron Sanders coaches one of our daughters in softball and it is great to see him with some frequency.

John Shananhan's daughter Kelsey is buddies with my two daughters and I get to see him at events too.

I share baseball tickets with Robert Scott and I see him at the court house in Fairfax often.

My wife Paula and I live in Alexandria with our four kids:  Maeve, Emma, Patrick and Rory. I am a lawyer in Alexandria and I  have been basically working in Old Town since I was 15 years old.  It is good to run across fellow classmates in and around the Northern Virginia area.  Believe it or not, I was appointed a Substitute Judge in Alexandria and sit in Fairfax and Alexandria a few days a month.

Have a great time at the reunion and I will go to the next one (this is the first one I am missing). Dave

What song from high school do you most want to hear at the reunion?:
bohemian rhapsody
From Lisa:
Married to my wonderful husband, David, for 18 years with 4 children from HS to 4th grade.  We've lived all over the US and have landed in sunny New Mexico for the last 3 years.

I had a career in operations research for the military until I married and became a mom.  I've stayed home to raise them since then and currently am writing and painting icons.

I've reestablished contact with Nancy Kopf, my bud, and am hoping to find Ellen Forrest and others.

Won't be making the reunion due to my husband's health issues (it's been a difficult year) but I hope you all have fun!

HIGH SCHOOL SECRETS:  Richard Rice's locker was next to mine thoughout high school.  I was in love with him then and still am, except for an occasional 'bout with Allen Robinson.  (Allen, honey, when I was with you....it was all about you baby!)

PRESENTLY:  I now live in Tucson, Arizona and love it.  I am divorced, once and only once, so all my children have the same last name.

REGRETS: It doesn't appear that I majored in anything useful. Should have moved to Liverpool in 1979.

SILENT FAULTS: Constantly refuse to follow my own advice.

I won't be able to make it to the 30th, but enjoyed connecting with ya'all at the 10th and 20th.....ENJOY, and I will be thinking about you.  I'm very impressed with the Reunion Committee....Nice job and wonderful website.

And...Richard Rice, if you're ever available and want to hook up....click the button below and send me a message.

What song from high school do you most want to hear at the reunion?:
Come Sail Away
From Diana:
My family is still living in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  I am teaching high school Algebra 1 and Geometry to middle school students in Stafford, Virginia.  Hard to believe that I have been teaching for over 20 years.  If my high school math teachers had any idea that I was teaching math they would probably be shocked.
My husband, Ed also teaches and coaches football and basketball.  We stay pretty busy.  Our daughter, Meredtih, just finished her junior year at Christopher Newport University.  She is working on a degree in psychology and is planning on becoming an teacher.  Our son, Luke, just finished his junior year at Chancellor High School.  He plays basketball and works at the Rappahannock Outdoor Education Center in Fredericksburg.
I am sorry to miss the reunion this year.  I am suppose to go to Georgia for a wedding that weekend.  Amy (Drexler) Zauner's oldest daughter is getting married.  I hope to make the next reunion to catch up with everyone.  I think it is great that we are going to include the classes of '77 and '79.  65

Anything from Billy Joel, the Cars, Dire Straits, or Pink Floyd.
From Bryan:
Hi all,

I married 13 years ago, kind of a late start.  Consequently, we have built our family through adoption and my kids are now 6 (a boy) and 9 (a girl).  They are the most amazing kids, just as I am sure all y'all's kids are...<grin>.

I really love teaching and feel very lucky to be getting paid to do what I love.  I also get to study interesting things.  Right now I am studying virtual worlds.  I study worlds like World of Warcraft and Second Life.  I don't exactly get to play in them, but it is still pretty cool to find out about them.

I hope everyone has a great time at the reunion.  I probably won't be able to come because Lubbock's distance from D.C. makes it too expensive for the family to travel there.

Cheers, -bryan camp
